Su Nuraxi di Barumini is a preshistoric site that dates from the 17th century BC. The stone buildings have been partilly reconstructed and the archelogical site is open for Visits. According to UNESCO, which designated the area as a World Herigate site by UNESCO.
The archaeological zone of Su Nuraxi was discovered and brought to light by the archaeologist Giovanni Lillu during the Forties and Fifties.
