Now, thanks to a collaboration with Expedia, NeoMam and This is Render take us from ruins to finished structures with a stunning—and educational—set of GIFs.

Looking across these formidable architectural styles, from Pre-Columbian and Egyptian to Roman, it’s a reminder of the incredible amount of work that went into building these ancient monuments. Acting as animated flip books, we’re able to see the vibrant colors that once adorned the facade of the Parthenon, as well as the large statues that guarded the entrance to the Luxor Temple in Egypt.
